What’s Made of Reflection?

What’s Made of Reflection?

I’m in the clouds
On top of the tallest tree
Captured
The water ripples
On the tin roof
When the moon is not
Consumed with the stories
In the night sky

My arms beat
Beside the swimming stars
Beneath
The water parts
Against naked cold
As if diving tops
Dancing eddies perform
To pock the surface

It is reflection
Of a select world
Bending
The water swallows
In this place
I am the constellation
Apparent form named myth
Of the liquid mirror
