The Colours of Cornucopia

“and the day came when the risk to stay tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom” – Anais Nin

I stayed the last two nights with my best friend at her place Cornucopia in Canberra. When I went to leave to go to the National Botanic Gardens this morning I was struck by the beautiful colours to be found in her gorgeous front garden. The lilies are making a stand, the rosemary hedge is stout and strong, the blossoms are entertaining the bees and the sky was a beautiful Canberra Spring blue.

“Sleep baby sleep
The day’s on the run
The wind in the trees
Is talking in tongues”- Leonard Cohen
